How to read a certificate of analysis

A certificate of analysis (COA) is the independent record of what a vial actually contains. Every Doctides compound links to its third-party Janoshik report.

Identity confirms the compound is what the label claims, typically by mass spectrometry. Mass reports the measured quantity against the stated amount. Purity, measured by HPLC, is the percentage of the sample that is the target compound.

Read the purity figure alongside the HPLC chromatogram: a single dominant peak with minimal shoulders indicates a clean sample. Cross-check the lot number on the report against the lot on your vial.

For laboratory and research use only. Not medical advice. Verify all calculations against the certificate of analysis for your specific lot.
